As a member of the North American Bio Recovery Technicians Alliance, we are committed to operating by this code of ethics.

Members shall carry out business according to the laws of the jurisdiction in which they are located.

Members shall use basic courtesy and professionalism in dealing with each other and with the general public.

Members shall be responsible for accurately describing, estimating, invoicing and billing all materials they offer for services.

Members shall make every possible reasonable effort to resolve any type of dispute with a client..

Members shall state accurately and clearly terms and conditions of services which will be provided in a manner that can be easily understood by the general public. Terms and conditions of services may be modified with the consent of the authorizing surviving victim or insurance adjuster.

Members shall respond to incidents in a reasonable timely manner.

Members may not add any extra charges (padding the invoice) to assist the insured in recovering the out of pocket deductible rate.

Unresolved disputes among members shall be brought to the Arbitration Committee. Members agree to abide by the decision of the Committee whatever the outcome may be.

Treating surviving victims who have suffered personal loss with dignity, respect, compassion and understanding.

Being honest and forthright in all dealings with surviving victims, insurance companies, their agents, adjusters, representatives, brother/sister bio-recovery specialists, suppliers and the general public.

Consistently demonstrating a professional standard of excellence in our bio recovery services industry.

Being a responsible industry professional.

Violation of this Code of Ethics may be grounds for censure, suspension, or expulsion.
